DeveloperFounded in 1987 by Craig Robins, Dacra Development is one of the earliest and most significant leaders in the rebirth of Miami's South Beach and the restoration and preservation of its Art Deco architecture. Dacra was involved in the renovation of several of the Beach's landmark properties including the Marlin and Netherland Hotels as well as the development of Lincoln Road, Espanola Way and Washington Avenue.
Over the past eight years, Dacra has spearheaded the redevelopment of the Miami Design District. Working with urban planners and architects to rehabilitate and refocus the neighborhood, Dacra has created a true creative center that is home to over 40 architecture and design firms and 50 showrooms including Knoll, Kartell, Poliform and Holly Hunt. In the coming years, Dacra will invest over $220 million in the Design District to further enhance the thriving urban community it has created in the area.
